Malaria

Your destination, the length of stay and your present state of health all play a roll in what kind of anti-malaria protection you require. Your Medical Practitioner or local Health Center will have the latest information.

Clothing

At dawn and dusk, a light jacket or sweater is advisable. During the day lightweight non-synthetic clothing is the most comfortable. Don?t forget to include a sunhat, sun cream and mosquito repellent and of course your camera and binoculars.

The Climate

Gaddisa Lodge & Safaris is situated quite near the equator where the weather is very stable. The rainy season is from March into the second week of April. From end of october til half of november there are small rains. This means almost any afternoon some rain. The remainder of the year is pleasant. Due to a cool breeze, the months of June, July and August are cooler than December and January. Temparture average 28º celcius at day and 22º at night.
