Cultural Village Tour

Experience the cultural side of Kenya. This 3-hour excursion takes you to Isiolo and the tribal villages in the area. You will see different aspects of every day life in Africa.  In Isiolo you will visit the market, a school and the hospital. It is an extremely interesting and instructive excursion and will give you a glimpse of authentic African daily life.  

Microcredit Project Tour

The Dutch Support Group Kenya (DSG Kenya) has sponsored a number of projects. We have the pleasure during this 3-hour tour to acquaint you with some of the small businesses that have been started. You will visit a bakery, a chicken farm, a sewing workshop, a school and a hospital, as well as meeting the local businessman.

Some of our guests have returned so enthusiastic from this tour that they decided to personally finance a project. The chicken farm and the sewing workshop were both started in this way.

Traditional Tour

During this 3-hour tour you will be introduced to authentic African ways and customs. Such things as an original African hut; the local medicine man; traditional make-up; traditional dancing and traditional headdress. The itinerary will often depend on what is going on at the time. One could come across a village festival, a wedding or even a funeral. Gaddisa?s close ties with the Borana people make this all possible.

Panorama Tour

Because of its central situation, GLS offers the possibility to discover the many diverse eco-systems and panoramas in the area. The lodge lies in a basin surrounded by mountains. Looking southeast there is a wonderful view of Mt. Kenya. The landscape is varied and ranges from rainforest to dessert. The 4-hour Panorama Tour covers all this diversity.
