Gaddisa Lodge & Safaris is a community-based project embracing the principles of Sustainable Tourism. Profits are for the benefit of the local community. This means that there is easy access to the local culture of the Borana people and the authentic village of Isiolo. With 6 national parks and Mount Kenya right at your doorstep, Gaddisa offers unmatched possibilities for safaris and excursions.
The large swimming pool is a distinguishing feature of the lodge. After an exhilarating day on safari you can return to the lodge and enjoy a refreshing drink on the shady terrace with Mt. Kenya in the background. The restaurant offers wonderful meals to be enjoyed either indoors or on the veranda. All ingredients are home grown. Vegetables come straight from the kitchen garden, bread and pastries from the bakery, chickens from the chicken run and meat from our own butcher. Water comes from a well on the property and a purification system produces top quality water.
